The 44th China Sulfur and Sulfuric Acid Technology Annual Conference was successfully held in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province from August 26 to 29, 2025. Co-hosted by the National Sulfur and Sulfuric Acid Industry Information Center and the editorial department of Sulfuric Acid Industry, this year’s conference brought together enterprise representatives, industry association experts, and professionals from the sulfuric acid sector. Participants engaged in comprehensive presentations and in-depth discussions on topics including industrial policies, market dynamics, and innovations in processes, technologies, equipment, and materials.
NHD has long been committed to advancing the exchange and development of cutting-edge technologies in the sulfuric acid industry. For multiple consecutive years, the company has participated in and sponsored the “NHD Cup” Outstanding Conference Paper Awards to recognize outstanding research achievements within the sector. This year’s competition selected one first prize, four second prizes, and seven third prizes from a total of 56 submitted papers. Mr. Ma Hong, Deputy General Manager of NHD, served as the award presenter and presented the honors to the winning authors.
At the afternoon meeting on the 28th, leaders from the China Sulfuric Acid Industry Association and Sinopec Nanjing Research Institute of Chemical Industry presented honorary awards to a group of outstanding partners who have contributed to Sulfuric Acid Industry over the past three decades. As the core scientific and technological journal of China’s sulfuric acid industry, Sulfuric Acid Industry holds significant influence within the sector. Xin Hongda Group was honored to be selected and received a commemorative bronze plaque symbolizing this distinction.
This annual conference serves not only as a showcase for technological achievements but also as a vivid demonstration of industry-wide collaborative innovation and joint efforts to promote high-quality development. NHD will continue to work alongside industry peers to actively deepen technical cooperation, advance the commercialization of innovative outcomes, and collectively inject new momentum into the green, efficient, and sustainable development of China’s sulfuric acid industry.
